Hope through
Hardship Spiritual Assistance
First
things first "Do not be anxious about anything, but
in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving,
present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which
transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds
in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7
Attitude
1. Forgive anyone you believe is
responsible for your hardship or who has done
you wrong
2. Put the past behind
you
3. Commit to focusing on the
future
4. Examine yourself
5. Pray for a positive attitude
and a fresh start
What does God's Word say about
hardship? You may be surprised to know that God
understands the difficulties of life. And He not only
understands them, He uses them for His glory.

Support 1. Find someone
close to you (other than your spouse) to use as a mentor
and
emotional support.
2. Talk with God, Pastors, Elders and other Christians about
what you are feeling
(depression, stress, anger,
etc.). You are not alone in this.
3. Be aware of your family's needs during this time. They
are also dealing with
the same feelings you are.
4. Take care of yourself physically. Eat
well, exercise, get enough sleep, etc.

Lasting hope is found only in a reconciled relationship with
God through His Son, Jesus Christ. Learn

2. Pray and read your Bible daily for encouragement and
instruction.
